Talonsister preorder competition!
I have a new fantasy book out on September 12th, which I have just recently decided is 'druidpunk' (ahem). Talonsister is a tale of griffins, magical warriors and found family, all bound up in British folklore and simmering sexual tension, and some lovely people have said some lovely things about it lately...
"This isn’t enchanting magic, this is wild, feral, ancient magic. I couldn’t get enough of wandering these forest paths laid down by Williams and discovering where she’d lead us next ... An unforgettable magical fable from Britain’s Queen of fantasy" Fantasy Hive
You can read the entire review here. In celebration of returning to fantasy, I am running a special preorder competition...
When the amazing Broken Binding made their special limited editions of the Winnowing Flame trilogy, I was lucky enough to receive the ‘number one’ of each of the books - but I also got a unique ‘sample’ copy of The Ninth Rain from my publishers, Headline. This copy is unnumbered and entirely unique, and if you preorder a copy of Talonsister, you can enter the prize draw to win it! And it won’t be unnumbered by that point - I will sign it, number it, draw in it and even annotate the book in places, making this copy of The Ninth Rain unlike any other.
All you have to do is preorder Talonsister, find me on Twitter (@sennydreadful) and send me proof of your order, or email me at jenwilliamsauthor@gmail.com. And, the first fifty people to send me preorder deets get a little Inkwort pin, designed by me. Inkwort is a character from the world of Talonsister I am especially fond of, and I’m hoping she’ll be a favourite of readers too. The pins are made from maple wood, which felt appropriate given how much of the book takes place in the company of trees, and they came out so well I am slightly obsessed with them.
The competition is UK only I’m afraid (as yet the book is only available in the UK) and I’ll be taking entries right up until 11th September 2023.

Referral programs can add another layer to a gaming platform, but the details matter more than the headline. While reviewing the Dm Win game referral program, I paid attention to how the referral process and requirements were explained. The information made more sense when I looked at it step by step rather than rushing through the offer. Rahul also prefers checking whether there are specific conditions for successful referrals, since those details can easily be overlooked when someone is new to the platform.
best free ai photo enhancers sounds like a fascinating blend of genres, and that sample copy of The Ninth Rain is such a unique prize for a preorder competition. The description of griffins and British folklore really has me intrigued.
floor plan maker looks like the perfect tool to sketch out the world of Talonsister. The description of it as 'druidpunk' with griffins and magical warriors is so intriguing. I'm definitely going to check this out after the preorder competition.
planliva is offering a great prize with that unique sample copy of The Ninth Rain. It's exciting to see this special preorder competition for your new druidpunk fantasy, Talonsister. The mix of griffins and found family sounds like exactly my kind of story.
I really enjoyed these practical styling tips, especially how acrylic dangle earrings can add colour and personality while remaining lightweight and versatile. The outfit suggestions are easy to follow, and the care advice is useful. For technology topics, even a factory reset verizon route guide should be equally clear.
