This was so much fun to do! So much so, I think I will have to do it again soon. I've especially enjoyed trying to draw each character in a slightly different style, giving my arty muscles a little bit of a work out. The easiest one was Piccolo, who went straight from sketch to ink, and the hardest was Sir Didymus, who I thought would be a piece of piss but was an actual nightmare. Capturing the particular look of a beloved puppet is very tricky, it turns out, but he was also the most rewarding.
